I think right now is a great time of the year to go shopping. There are still plenty of bargains to be had with sale stock and most of the shops have started to bring in their early autumn lines so there is more choice than ever for the keen eyed shopper.
We're delighted to announce the arrival of Republic to Blanchardstown. This chain is one of the fastest growing in UK as we speak with record sales last year. They carry the top brands in casual clothing but also have their own fantastic labels which you're sure to love. Make sure to pop in next time you're with us.
Festival fashion is one trend that seems to get stronger every summer - probably because we now seem to have more festivals than any other country. Its like a slightly more glam version of hippy and everyone seems to embrace it with gusto each year. Don't think though just that something is labelled under festival chic that its not 100% wearable beyond the mud! How about this beautiful fringed jacket from River Island or this cute ditsy print blouse from Miss Selfridge?
And by means of adding balance to all things we go from festival to fabulous. If its glammed up elegance your looking for this summer then check out this sequined top from A-wear or this sweet maxi dress from French Connection or to really make a statement how about these great shoes from Carl Scarpa.
I know it might seem that I've gone maxi dress obsessed in this edition but I think they are the ultimate summer wardrobe solution. If like me you're not blessed with sallow skin that tans easily then its always a battle in summer to keep those legs covered up while remaining cool. For some reason the ol pale arms are far more acceptable so all hail the maxi and I'm mad about this one from Dunnes. For those a little more honeyed in the skin department check out this stunning white shift dress - beautifully tailored in gorgeous linen or maybe this fab maxi from Dorothy Perkins. And not forgetting the chaps - how about this fab slim fit shirt.
One sweet trend thats sneaking in is the retro cardigan and I've picked two gorgeous examples here for both men and women from Burton and Topshop. No-one's autumn wardrobe shoud be without one and don't mind autumn - our summer nights are chilly enough to keep a cardi close at hand!
