Laid over two floors Blanchardstown Library, has a children’s play area with comfortable seating areas for relaxing and reading by all. Also offered in the Library are a range of services including FREE Internet & Wi-Fi access with printing facilities available for a small charge. Membership of Blanchardstown Library is free of charge and all that is needed to join is proof of address (eg a utility bill or driving licence).  Members can borrow items such as Books, DVDs and CDs for 3 weeks at a time.  Further online services available to members include Free Online Language Courses, Free eBooks and Free Audio Books.  Blanchardstown Library offers free talks, classes, events and activities for all and offers information about European Affairs in the Europe Direct Centre.  We look forward to meeting you when you visit the Library to see all that we have to offer!

Spanish Conversation Group - Mondays at 6.30pm.

French Conversation Group -Tuesdays at 6.30pm.

English Conversation Group-Wednesdays at 6.30pm.

Irish Conversation Group—Saturdays at 12pm.



Every Saturday in the Library at 1pm - Lifering is an international organization of support groups for people who want to live free of alcohol or other addictive drugs.


The Baby Book Club

3rd Tuesday of every month at 11.30 am - Stories, songs & fun for children of pre-school age. Booking required (call 8905563)


La Leche League Breastfeeding Support Group

2nd Friday of every month at 10.30am  -. Mother-to-mother meeting that provides information and support to women who want to breastfeed their babies Babies of course are very welcome.


The Parent & Toddler Group meets every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm. All are welcome to drop in at any stage.
