REPUBLIC TO LAUNCH FIRST REPUBLIC OF IRELAND STORE,
OPENING DUBLIN ON 2nd JUNE
Republic, leading fashion retailer, is set to unveil its eagerly awaited first store in ROI, in Dublin’s Blanchardstown shopping centre at the beginning of June. This new store represents a significant milestone for Republic being the brands first store to open outside of the UK.
Republic first launched in 1986 with a single store in Leeds and rapidly grew to become one of the UK’s key high street retailers of men’s and women’s fashion, showcasing the best brands on the high street including own brands Soul Cal, Miso, Crafted and Fabric alongside big brand names such as Firetrap, Fenchurch, Diesel, G-Star and Bench. Republic’s unique model offers customers a carefully edited selection of ‘best of season’ styles and an extensive denim offering, ensuring only the hottest looks are available.
This new store is set to create 30 new jobs and will be an exciting new addition to Republic’s growing store portfolio which today stands at over 100 stores alongside a hugely successful e-commerce site www.republic.co.uk . Designed in Republic’s ‘industrial chic’ style, this 4,000 sq ft store will feature recycled architecture superimposed with an eclectic mix of finishes to give different areas of personality to the store’s interior.
This dynamic retailer prides itself on its extensive fashion ranges, high quality products at unbeatable prices, friendly and knowledgeable retail teams and lively and welcoming in store environment.
Mark Bruce, Regional Manager, commented:
“After a good year of like for like growth in 2009 we’re taking the Republic fascia and experience to Republic of Ireland with plans to open a further 3 stores this year. This is a really exciting opportunity for the brand”.
Customers will be able to take advantage of a number of exclusive styles, opening offers and promotions including 20% off everything in store during opening week.
