Wagamama Creates 50 jobs in Blanchardstown Centre!
Wagamama, the Asian fusion restaurants that celebrates consistency and quality in everything they do are delighted to announce the creation of 50 jobs in Blanchardstown Centre.The two Wagamama locations at Dublin and Cork have been treating Irish diners to positive eating experiences for several years and this trend is set to continue with a new restaurant opening soon in Blanchardstown Centre, creating jobs in the service industry, including waiters and waitresses, administrative staff, line chefs, managers and supervisors.
The Wagamama ethos, developed since the first restaurant opened in London in 1992, is to combine great, fresh and nutritious food with helpful, friendly service and value for money. This ethos is reflected in the full training that has been provided to each new staff member, covering health and safety, food safety, food knowledge, team building and customer service.
The Dublin city centre restaurant on South King Street opened its doors for the first time in 1998 and they expanded to Cork in 2005. This new location in Blanchardstown Centre, at 2,500 square feet and 100 seats, is set to be a great addition to the area. The recruitment response for these 50 new positions was overwhelming with over 600 applications, reflecting the enthusiasm amongst Irish workers for the Wagamama ethos and employment in the service industry.
Communal dining at long benches replaces the traditional table and chairs, generating an authentic Asian environment and welcoming busy workers during the week and families at the weekend. Local and international celebrities and sports personalities have also been spotted enjoying Wagamama!
