18/07/2012 - New Development at Blanchardstown Centre
Nandos, the world famous casual dining chain are to open at Blanchardstown Centre.
Founded in South Africa in 1987 the restaurateur now operates in over 30 countries. The new 300 sq m restaurant will occupy an external unit with outdoor seating overlooking the Piazza at the Blue Mall entrance. The new development which is nearing completion will also incorporate a second 300 sq m restaurant where it is believed a letting to another major restaurant group is close to being finalized.
A confirmed new occupier elsewhere the Centre is KFC who are currently fitting out at the former Pizza Hut unit. Their new 350 sq m outlet is located close to the Cineplex entrance. The Odeon Group who has taken over the UCI cinema chain in Ireland are in the process of refitting the 9 screen complex at Blanchardstown and which will incorporate Ireland’s second ever ‘ISENSE’ in a new 430 seat auditorium.
Blanchardstown is set to get a further boost in early September with the opening of the new flagship Boots outlet. Contractors for owners Green Property are close to completing the construction of a new 2500 sq m block which will house what will be one of Boots largest outlets in the UK or Ireland.
