Commenting on The Blanchardstown Centre, the judging Panel noted: "Blanchardstown has seen an ambitious programme of growth over seven years with new restaurants, arts buildings, a department store and two retail parks and has become a successful destination town centre in its own right."
Mr. Aidan Grimes, general manager of The Blanchardstown Centre said; "This is a wonderful achievement by the retailers and staff at the Blanchardstown Centre. There is no higher accolade than to be voted by our peers as the Best Established Centre in the UK and Ireland. Blanchardstown is now one of the prime retail destinations for Irish consumers and for foreign retailers looking to establish in Ireland. The Centre has acted as an important catalyst for development in the entire West Dublin region and our success is further underpinned by the major extension currently being developed which will have Marks & Spencer as anchor tenant".
