“It is in giving that we receive” – St. Francis
Blanchardstown Centre’s Giving Tree Appeal in aid of St. Vincent de Paul is now in its 20th year. The Appeal brings cheer to families by ensuring that no child is without a gift on Christmas morning. Shoppers and staff are asked to choose a gift tag/card from the Giving Tree in Blanchardstown Centre and donate a gift. Over 40,000 gifts have been collected and distributed by the Giving Tree Appeal, throughout West Dublin, so far!
Mercy Prendergast, Marketing Manager, Blanchardstown Centre says “Since its inception Blanchardstown Centre’s Giving Tree Appeal has helped thousands of children share in the joy of Christmas. We hope our shoppers and staff will, once again, support this worthy Appeal and make Christmas magic for children in need. By donating a gift (toys, gift cards, or, clothes) to the Appeal you can make this Christmas a very special one for a child who might otherwise be without a gift on Christmas morning”.
The Giving Tree Appeal is made possible by the tremendous support of our volunteers. We extend our sincere thanks to all volunteers and to Fr. Dan Joe O’Mahoney & the pupils from Castleknock Community College.
The Giving Tree will be accepting your gifts from 20st Nov until 23rd December
